“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

- Dr. Carl Rogers, psychologist

Hi! I’m Alexandra (she/her).

I’m a guidance counsellor and psychotherapist in Quebec, Canada. I am a member of l’Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d’orientation du Québec and hold a psychotherapy permit with l’Ordre des psychologues du Québec. My qualifications include a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University, as well as postgraduate degrees in the fields of education and psychiatry.

As a therapist, I take a client-centered approach and employ evidence-based interventions drawing predominantly from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

During our sessions, my focus is on creating an environment conducive to your personal growth by offering you unwavering acceptance, compassion, and support. My goal is to provide a judgment-free space where we can openly communicate and reflect on your experiences to facilitate a path towards greater emotional health and well-being.

I believe that taking the step to seek support and begin therapy is a courageous choice. We will work together to equip you with the tools you need to make meaningful change and cultivate a future defined by personal development, self-discovery, and fulfillment.

I look forward to meeting you!
