What is psychotherapy, and how can it help me?

Participating in psychotherapy offers you a secure and confidential space to openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and work toward positive change. A trained therapist is dedicated to supporting you in managing emotional and mental health challenges, and helping equip you with the necessary tools to attain your goals. Psychotherapy can be a powerful tool for personal growth, self-discovery, and the enhancement of emotional well-being.

How long is each session, and how often should I attend therapy?

The duration of a standard psychotherapy or counselling session is 50 minutes. The frequency of sessions will be determined collaboratively between you and the therapist based on your specific needs.

Where are you located?

I am based in Montreal, Quebec. Currently, all sessions are conducted online and are accessible to individuals located anywhere in the province of Quebec.

How much does therapy cost? Do you accept insurance?

The cost of a single session is $180 (tax included), payable via e-transfer. After each session, you will receive an insurance receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I am a member of the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d’orientation du Quebec (OCCOQ) and licensed to practice psychotherapy by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ). Please verify that your insurance plan covers psychotherapy services provided by a psychotherapist.

*Graduate students may be eligible to benefit from a reduced rate for a limited number of sessions. Please indicate your interest in this offer upon contacting me.
